1. About CapRaise
CapRaise.lk ("CapRaise", "we") operates an online marketplace connecting businesses seeking capital, sale, or partnership ("Sellers") with prospective investors and acquirers ("Buyers") in Sri Lanka. CapRaise is a marketplace and facilitation platform only. CapRaise is not a licensed investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial institution.
2. No Financial Advice
Nothing on this platform, including analyst-prepared documents such as information memoranda and valuation reports, constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice. All CapRaise-produced outputs are indicative only. Users must conduct their own due diligence and obtain independent professional advice before entering any transaction.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Listings & Information Accuracy
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of information they submit. CapRaise's verification services check documents provided but do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or future performance. "Verified" badges indicate document checks were performed, not an endorsement or warranty.
5. Confidentiality & NDAs
Access to confidential listing information requires execution of a non-disclosure agreement. Breach of an NDA may result in account termination and legal liability to the disclosing party.
6. Fees
CapRaise charges fixed fees for listing packages and optional services as displayed at checkout. CapRaise does not charge success fees or commissions on transactions.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not misrepresent information, circumvent the platform to avoid confidentiality controls, scrape data, or use the platform for money laundering or any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
CapRaise is not a party to any transaction between Buyers and Sellers and accepts no liability for losses arising from transactions, information inaccuracy, or user conduct, to the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Sri Lanka.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
